Anna and Jason Flowerday run the Te Whare Ra vineyard in Marlborough according to organic and bio-dynamic practices. The fruit is picked and sorted by hand, then processed in a winery especially designed for small-batch wine-making. This dry Pinot Gris is finely structured with great purity and length of flavour. Lifted aromas of nashi pear, raspberry, red apple and white florals follow on to the palate, where they're balanced by a fine, supple texture and lingering minerality.

Notes of dark cherry, violets and spice dominate the nose. Palate: The palate is full and structured, yet elegant with flavors of luscious dark cherry balanced with a fine mineral acidity. A straw colour compliments the intense pear aromas with peach and melon notes. A textured palate with sweet rounded ripe stone fruit flavours and a touch of spice.

The Wither Hills Pinot Gris has lovely fruit and aromas of ripe white peach, citrus and quince. It is off-dry on the palate with some refreshing acidity and beautiful succulent mouth feel. An excellent Pinot - low yielding vines growing in calcium rich clay, within stoney subsoils derive a fine fruit. Extended brilliantly, sunny cool autumnal freshness has led to a wine of finesse and character.

A relatively new name but Dog Point's owners have years of experience in Marlborough and this label is much sought after. This release is beautifully textured rich and delicious.

Te Rua Bay Sauvignon Blanc is a brilliant example of Marlborough at its best, delivering a delicate blend of unique fruit flavours paired with distinctive characteristics that only the region can offer. Located along on of the many bays at the top of New Zealand's South Island, Tea Rua's proximity to the ocean provides a unique climate for growing such incredible Sauvignon Blanc grapes.
