This single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon comes from our Eden Valley estate in the rolling hills of Pewsey Vale. A complex wine that is well-rounded and finishes with silky, lingering tannins. Region Barossa, Eden Valley Colour Deep purple in colour Aroma Complex aromas of violets, blackcurrants, and plums Palate The palate is rewarded with pronounced black cherries, mulberries, and a hint of star anise.

The cool hills of the Eden Valley has produced a Pinot Noir of intense colour and rich flavour. The aromas of strawberry and cherry are eveident on the nose. A hint of cinnamon and clove spice also contribute to the aromatics of this wine. Layered flavours of Strawberry, Black Cherry and Plum have integrated well with clove spice to coat the mouth. The palate is soft and elegant.

This wine is the culmination of a long term project that started 20 years ago when we planted a small block of Cabernet Franc on a bony ridge in the highest part of the vineyard. The fruit was destemmed into an open fermenter and spent 9 months in six second-hand French hogsheads to allow full fruit expression. The wine is bright crimson with a delicate perfumed nose and a hint of pepper and spice. There is a broad palate of black fruits – satsuma plum, dark cherry and mulberry with a lingering finish.

Single Vineyard, single block wine off the 2021 Young Gun of Wine "Vineyard of the Year" It is opaque crimson red opening with black olives, mint and violets on the nose.
