The wine has aromas of fresh plum and blackberry fruit with floral notes and some savoury earthy oak spice. On the palate the wine is full flavoured, with flavours of mixed berries, floral herbs, earthy spice and background oak characters. ThisShiraz is carefully crafted from fruit grown on our Riddoch Run Estate Vineyard. This fresh winedisplays dark forest fruits, cassis, pepper and spices, framed in bright aromatic oak.Fresh blueberries, rhubarb and dark chocolate are on show, along with a good depth of flavour, ripe and supple tannins provide a long finish.

Deep purple Dark cherries and blue fruits with undertones of stewed fruit and plums with a hint of tobacco. Medium to full palate weight, powerful flavours of spice, pepper and sumac. Structural powdery tannins provide a dry finish to compliment the dark fruits.

The Author pays homage to pioneering vigneron John Riddoch (1827 - 1901). A true visionary, Riddoch is regarded as one of the founding fathers of Australian wine. An influential figure, he established the Coonawarra fruit colony in 1890 and is synonymous with the region's story. The Author represents the finest expression of the vintage. Dark red in colour with a vibrant crimson hue, the wine shows ripe red berry fruit and plum flavours with hints of spice. Matured in new and seasoned French oak hogsheads, the seamlessly integrated oak intertwines with a core of intense dark fruit. Plush, velvety tannins lead to a long and persistent length of flavour. This has all the hallmarks of a classic Coonawarra Shiraz and will drink well now but will reward patient cellaring for 10 to 15 years.

Produced from premium Shiraz grapes grown on Coonawarra's famous Terra Rossa soil, this well structured wine exhibits great depth and varietal flavours. This Redman Shiraz drinks well now but will reward 5-7 years cellaring.

Consistency has been the hallmark of Majella Shiraz for some time now. Ripe fresh raspberry and mulberry fruit is supported by fine tannins and subtle oak.
