Haut Bailly II is the second wine of Chateau Haut-Bailly based in Pessac-Leognan, which was previously released as La Parde de Haut Bailly. A lovely wine with energy and drive.

This Merlot is medium to full bodied, displaying bold notes of black dark cherry and plum. The palate is lengthy and generous, followed by layers of vanilla bean and hints of mocha to finish.

Beaujolais Villages is an Appellation from the southern part of Burgundy, made out of 100% Gamay grapes. The wines produced in this area tend to be a little deeper and darker in colour and character than the Beaujolais Appelation. It is also a big step up in quality. Chateau Peymouton is a part of the famed Chateau Laroque, situated about 3.5km east of the medieval town of Saint Emilion. When 27 hectares of Chateau Laroque was elevated to Saint Emilion Grand Cru Classé status in 1996, the remaining 31 hectares on the property was designated as Chateau Peymounton - a new Saint Emilion Grand Cru. The Chateau Peymouton parcels are situated on the higher part of the property's plateau, where the soil is composed of fine clay over a limestone base. The wine is made by the same team as Chateau Laroque with the same attention to detail. A blend of 72% Merlot, 22% Cabernet Franc, and 6% Cabernet Sauvignon, with an average vine age of 38 years. Deep dark crimson red, with complex aromatics of blue fruit, cigar box, and hints of violets. Very rich and powerful on the palate, with plush, dense, velvety tannins. A complex, richly flavoured Saint Emilion reflecting its Grand Cru status and the warm vintage.

An attractive wooden twin-pack case showcasing two classic Bordeaux blends: 2018 Chateau Haut Madrac is a Cru Bourgeois in the Haut Médoc. A blend of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon and 42% Merlot, it is an elegant yet powerful example claret with depth of flavour. 2022 Horizon de Lynch is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot. Intense purple in colour, with aromas of toasty cedar, dark plums, and liquorice. Fine tannins round out the silky finish - a great example of a modern and highly drinkable claret.

Crisp, classic Cabernet aromas of blackcurrant and tobacco lifted with hints of dark cherry and rosemary. A pleasing, measured mid-weight appeal and a freshness that really brings this wine to life. On the palate the primary dark berry and cassis notes are joined by notions of forest floor occasional hints of black pepper then a savoury yet sapid blackcurrant finish. Despite this wines immediate appeal there is also some gentle tannic grip that will ensure it drinks well for a number of years to come.
