The inspiration from the Barossas best old vine Grenache vineyards created Annexus, an addition to our Plexus blend. Annexus is a small unique blend selected from our best old low yielding Grenache vineyards, made only in the best years. Winemaking: Fermentation in small open top fermenters incorporating 20% whole bunches. Oak Maturation: 100% barrel maturated for 12 months, in older French oak hogsheads (300-litre barrels). Colour: Vibrant purple-red. Nose: Perfumed fruit aromatics complexed with savoury spice and charcuterie notes. Palate: Generous and rich and structured with texture and impressive flavour intensity. An array of red fruits, plum and raspberry fill the palate.

Bin 21 is a vibrant testament to the character of South Australian Grenache. The 2024 release immediately captivates with a bright and alluring perfume of floral notes and exotic spice. With fruit sourced from Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale, it delivers a harmonious balance of freshness and structure.

Hand picked low yielding vines producing a wine with increased intensity of aroma, flavour, texture and length. Hand picked and fermented with indigenous yeast and matured in French oak for two years..

Grenache in all its glory. Red fruits proudly lead the charge: raspberries, cranberries and pomegranate. Fragrant coulis on a summer berry pudding. Ferric notes of steel wool and cordite allude to the iron-rich clay soil upon which the vines prosper in the Barossa Valley. Charcuterie aromas of Jamón ibérico and Mojama dry cured tuna notes add an interesting slightly saline nuance. Rubbed olive leaves, sumac spice and ginger peel aromas round out a very enticing nose. YANGARRA ESTATE VINEYARD Ovitelli Grenache, McLaren Vale

The signature Thistledown lifted aromatics are present but the palate offers more sinew and spice than those from McLaren Vale. Textural, almost chewy but polished dark cherry, mineral and warm spices carry through to a finish of incredible length.

The Aberfeldy vineyard is located only 5 kilometres from the town centre of Clare and was planted way back in 1904 by the Birks family of Wendouree fame. This single vineyard Clare Shiraz is rich and full bodied with hints of mulberry, blackberry and vanilla. An impressive wine with great cellaring potential.
