Yalumba Vat 11 Grenache
Light to medium density with bright red hues. Lifted red berry, bramble, cherry fruit notes – very attractive aromas. The palate starts out with crunchy red fruits complimented by the whole bunch used in fermentation and the French oak used. Lovely ripe tannins with a fresh acid backbone to carry the flavours right to the finish. The lingering after taste makes for a very enjoyable Pinot Noir.

Crafted by Head Winemaker Nick Badrice, the Krondorf Stone Altar Grenache is all about precision and focus; with concentrated aromas of black cherries with intense earthy and aniseed character leading to a palate of bramble and spice with freshly cut fig, lovely freshness and structure from subtle notes from new and seasoned premium oak barrels. Sourced from three remarkable sites in the famed Blewitt Springs sub-region of McLaren Vale, this wine possesses a beautifully complex, aromatic nose of violets, wild cherry, rosemary and warming spice. Penfolds Bin 21 Grenache
Grenache in all its glory. Red fruits proudly lead the charge: raspberries, cranberries and pomegranate. Fragrant coulis on a summer berry pudding. Ferric notes of steel wool and cordite allude to the iron-rich clay soil upon which the vines prosper in the Barossa Valley. Yangarra Old Vine Grenache
While certainly lighter, more elegant, and a different style to that of some of previous years, the 2011 vintage is one of the greatest Grenache vintages Yangarra has ever produced. The white pepper spice is telling of such a cool year, and is married with bright cherries and raspberry alongside complex hints of liquorice, chicory and cured meats. The tannins are fine and delicate, and the acidity alike.
