This great Pinot Gris from Mt Difficulty has aromatics reminiscent of a fruit cocktail full of stone fruit, melon and green mango. These characters are richly replicated on the palate, with a full-textured mid palate and an off-dry finish. Delicious.

Sourced from the renowned Ben Morven vineyard, the Pinot Noir fruit is of exceptional character. Beautifully perfumed, bursting with bright red cherry and wild raspberry aromas. Layers of ripe berries are complemented by fine silky tannins and subtle hints of chocolate and spice on the finish complete the wine.

Displays lovely aromas of red cherry and strawberry fruits on the nose with a hint of light smokiness. A fresh array of cherries, plums and rounded sweetness on the palate, we think this easy drinking wine is a perfect example of what makes pinot noir so attractive. Pressed from its skins early, before the end of fermentation, this Pinot Noir is bursting with red cherry and berry characters and a smooth finish

This Pinot Noir is a true regional expression with dark berries, choclate and dried herbs. Rich with supple tannins, pepper spice and subtle oak.

A well coloured Pinot Noir; medium red with good depth. Has a lovely, complex, smoky fruit aroma. There are some definite savoury notes and hints of black tea along with the smoky cherry and light prosciutto-like characters. Distinctively Pinot on the palate with the lovely fullness and palate weight up front. There is good depth of dark, ripe, broody fruit flavours and they are well integrated with the subtle oak characters picked up during the maturation period. Located in the Great Southern region of Western Australia, West Cape Howe was named after a famous coastal landmark nearby. It was founded in 1997 by Brenden and Kylie Smith before being sold to Gavin Berry (ex-Plantagenet) and partners. West Cape Howe source fruit from specific vineyards, and sometimes specific plots, throughout the maritime-influenced Great Southern wine region. Premium parcels of fruit come from their Langton vineyard, planted in 1978. It has some of the most mature vines in the whole Great Southern area. Senior winemaker Gavin Berry prides himself on creating innovative wines that reflect the diversity of the Great Southern region. He makes wines from Riesling, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz, Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon, to name just a few. The wine styles vary from fresh and fruity, under the Western Australian label, to wines with a more regional focus, under the Great Southern label.
