In 1977, jazz musician Jacques Loussier, the owner of the estate at the time, had a recording studio built there, and hosted international artists of the caliber of Pink Floyd, The Cure, Muse, AC/DC, Wham, Sting, The Cranberries, Rammstein, Chris Rea, and French artists such as Indochine, Telephone, and Bashung. Turning their back on the famous studios of London and elsewhere, they came for the quality of the sound but also for the inspiration procured by this place that the current owners firmly intend to preserve.
