Affentaler Spätburgunder Rosé

A fine copper-colored Pinot Noir Rosé, with a ripe dense aroma of red berries and cherry. A powerful, full-bodied wineAround 1250, the Cistercians began cultivating Pinot Noir in the Affental. Affentals unique name derives from a pilgrimage chapel, which stood near the grapevines. In support of the pilgrims Ave Maria the valley was known as Ave Tal (Ave Valley) in the local vernacular, from which todays Affental (Valley of the monkeys) evolved. The origin of the Affental Wine Cooperative dates back to the year 1908. At the time, 24 winegrowers founded the Natural Winegrowing Association of Affental. From this, todays Affental Viticultural Cooperative was created over the years with approximately 240 hectares of vineyards. Long time success in tasting competitions speak for the special quality of our wines.Style: Pinot Noir RoséRegion: Baden Wurttemberg

Miracle on the Wire Organic Cabernet Sauvignon

Nature is a very curious and amazing thing and as vineyard owners in the Central Ranges wine district of New South Wales, we are constantly surprised how well our vines can perform in stressful conditions, with little to no rain. Miracle on the Wire refers to the tiny bunches of grapes that form on our vines each year, as well as to the sighting of the Blue Wren perched up on the wires of our Zeals Vineyard, as this is usually a sign of coming rain and good fortune. The extensive vineyard is Certified Organic, and adopts natural, sustainable, farming practices to ensure vigorous growth of the grapevines. This well-rounded wine is displaying dark fruits of blackberry and currant balanced by fine grained tannins. The gentle French oak complements the fruit weight, providing seamless structure and length to the palate. A vibrant wine that can be enjoyed now or cellared for up to 3-5 years.
