Alcoholic and malolactic fermentations took place in stainless steel tanks, with micro-oxygenation and lees stirring for optimal stabilisation of aromatic and polyphenolic compounds to give greater volume on the palate and smoother tannins. It aged for 12 months in new American oak barrels from the Applachians (70%) and in new French oak barrels from forests in central France (30%). Tasting Notes: Colour: Bright cherry red. Nose: Ripe, liqueur-like red fruit stands out, alongside creamy notes, toffee, vanilla, cinnamon and cocoa.
