The überblanc Riesling is attributed to a über 2001 vintage, winemaker Nick Glaetzer experienced in the Pflaz region of Germany, learning first hand some of the award winning techniques used by their winemakers. Tasmanian grapes sourced for the wine display the core elements, highly regarded by the Pflaz winemakers for or elegantly structured and balanced Riesling. Delicate lime zest and floral aromas fill the glass. Further citrus flavours develop on the fresh mineral structure, enhanced by the juicy fruit flavours.

Petaluma Riesling is one of Australia's finest examples of this noble variety. Pale straw in colour the palate exhibits lemon and grapefuit flavours matched by some fresh and racy acidity. Sourced from the home of great Australian Riesling, this trademark Clare Valley aromatic white is wonderful when opened upon release and like all great Rieslings, will develop brilliant toasty characters over a 10 year period in the bottle.

Fresh and floral, there's ample citrus and orchid fruits with perfectly balanced acidity for line and length. It works perfectly with or without food. Born and raised in the Barossa, Daniel started at the Penfolds cellar door, eventually co-founding a wine consultancy. Chaffey Bros. was born from Daniels dream to revive the name and the innovation of his great-great grandfather and his brother the original Chaffey brothers who founded Mildura in 1887. Together with his brother-in-law Theo Engela they now form the new iteration of Chaffey Bros. They love telling stories, and each of their wine labels reveals details about the vineyard, variety, region or history.

The wine is green and vibrant in appearance, with aromas of zesty lemon and grapefruit. An intense and generous palate, with lively citrus fruit and hints of talc. The wine finishes clean and dry with refreshing, long acidity. As is the case with all great Eden Valley Rieslings, mesh will age gracefully and reliably into a mature wine under the Stelvin closure.
