With strawberry, melon and flower petal flavours this Mrs. Wigley fits the bill of a real racy Rose. It's made from Grenache, has a touch of sweetness, a zesty kick and finishes squeaky clean, leaving a refreshing zing in the mouth.

The Portrait wines embody the original promise Peter Lehmann made to the growers to make wines that show the true character of the Barossa. Collectively, these wines present a portrait of the region with a selection of the traditional varietals that made it famous. A vivacious wine, with balance and structure, made from dry grown low-yielding bush Grenache and a touch of Shiraz. John Quarisa is a Jimmy Watson Trophy-winning winemaker, with a "long and distinguished" career (Halliday). Here he's provided a beautifully rich, lush and full-flavoured Shiraz, a triple Gold-winner laden with ripe fruits, delicious exotic spice and a smooth, long finish.

The label is a treat (a tiny vintage caravan parked outside a grand French château) but the wine itself is what's really special here.
