Totally unoaked, to allow the delicacy and freshness of the fruit to shine, the colour is true red-violet robe. The nose is delicate and expressive with notes of red fruit and spices. The palate shows a lovely fruity attack of red berries, and the wine finishes harmoniously with great freshness.

Brouilly is the largest and furthest south of the Beaujolais crus. It has a good south eastern exposure, at the bottom of the Saône Valley at an altitude of 200 to 300 metres.
