The Tutor 570 Vines Barossa Shiraz

This delicious Shiraz is full of ripe cherry and sweet spice flavours underpinned by hints of mocha and vanilla. Delicious with a great BBQ steak. Whats the importance of the number 570? Thats the number of vines that were first transported to our shores in 1832. They have been collected from Spain and France for the purpose of starting the first vineyards in Australia. Once the vines arrived, they were put into the care of a studious botanist we have nicknamed The Tutor. We were inspired by his story and this wine series pays homage to his careful observation and documentation. Cheers to 'The Tutor'.
