We are thrilled to present this latest edition of summer thirst quenching rosés to the range. Located in the picturesque Anjou district of France's western Loire Valley, the region is famous for producing generously flavoured, textural wines with various levels of sweetness. The two red grapes used in production, Grolleau and Cabernet Franc impart a delicious spectrum of summer red berry fruit, combining the classic stylistic descriptor of 'strawberries and cream'.

The first whiff of this restrained Sauvignon Blanc indicates a departure from the hugely aromatic styles of Marlborough. It has a delicate floral nose with an inkling of Indian spice while the fruit is more stone-fruit than tropical. The palate is elegant, texturally soft with a mouthfeel of freshness and breadth. The cool climate of the Loire produces wines with distinctive freshness, a lean acidity and a spicy or steely spine.

A sip of Devil's Lair Honeybomb is an expression of flavour, colour andtextures in the mouth. Light pink with a copper hue, this wine has crushed summer berry flavours with a creamy texture and a seductive hint of sweetness. Sourced from Western Australia and made at Devils Lair winery, this wine continues the wineries philosophy of making wines that define the region, respect the variety and are delicious to drink. An elegant and fresh nose of black cherry with hints of toasted hazelnut. On the palate, a beautiful fruitiness enhanced by a very pure structure that fills the mouth, despite light tannins. Carried by its freshness, this dominant of very ripe cherry stretches in length, then evolves on notes of roasted hazelnuts.

With notes of red fruit and floral notes balancing nicely on the palate, this Pierre Brévin Rosé shows classic Cabernet Franc varietal characteristics with just a slight herbal touch. Refreshingly smooth with a harmonious finish, it's the perfect accompaniment to salads and fish, and equally as enjoyable on its own.

The Portrait wines embody the original promise Peter Lehmann made to the growers to make wines that show the true character of the Barossa. Collectively, these wines present a portrait of the region with a selection of the traditional varietals that made it famous. A vivacious wine, with balance and structure, made from dry grown low-yielding bush Grenache and a touch of Shiraz. The colour is a delicate salmon pink with an aroma of early picked raspberries and strawberries. It is a refreshing, dry Rosé style ideal for casual sipping or as an accompaniment to lighter food dishes - served lightly chilled and drink it while it is young and fresh.

An excellent example of the soft, spicy and very drinkable style which makes Cotes du Rhone so popular. A versatile red which will be most enjoyable served with simple meat based casseroles or cheese.

A wonderful example of Hunter Shiraz. Ripe berries and spice with a touch of leather on the nose and a beautifully integrated palate showing plenty of juicy fruit flavour in a subtle well balanced style.

This delightful blend of indigenous Portuguese varieties, is one of our best selling imports and a much-loved favourite. It's savoury, earthy and has raspberry, dried herb and licorice flavours. A very handy red to have at the ready.

This dark, structured wine, with its balanced blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz, is firm with tannins and dense berry fruits. Full in the mouth; a concentrated wine. - 90 PTS. Wine Enthusiast 2013 Vintage and #5 Top 100.
