A beautiful French rosé in colour, the bouquet presents delicate notes of strawberries and red berries such asraspberries and fresh cherries. The palate dances nicely between fresh fruits, citrus characters and a lovely clean, crisp finish.

Michel Chapoutier has been able to do it again! A savoury masterpiece from the southern Rhône appellation of Luberon. A spicy blend of Grenache and Syrah that displays intense varietal characters of nutmeg and black pepper. The palate, while medium-bodied, is quite forceful with robust flavours of blueberry and blackberry fruits. Great use of older oak has also assisted this Luberon be a brilliant follow on from the every popular Chapoutier Côteaux-du-Tricastin.

Doudet Naudin, a Burgundy fine wine producer since 1849, makes the best use of its know-how to produce this agreeable wine. The fruit was sourced from vineyards in the Aude Valley near the Pyrenees. The wine is vinified in the traditional way using controlled temperatures and resulting in a fresh and fruity wine full of delicacy and harmony.

Vines have flourished in the Luberon for hundreds of years with the grapes benefiting from the warmth of the Mediterranean climate whilst retaining a lovely fresh finish. A wonderful crisp and fruity Rose with notes of wild strawberries and fresh cherries. Perfect as an aperitif or as a partner to fish and shellfish, chicken dishes and salads.

The first whiff of this restrained Sauvignon Blanc indicates a departure from the hugely aromatic styles of Marlborough. It has a delicate floral nose with an inkling of Indian spice while the fruit is more stone-fruit than tropical. The palate is elegant, texturally soft with a mouthfeel of freshness and breadth. The cool climate of the Loire produces wines with distinctive freshness, a lean acidity and a spicy or steely spine.

Mourvedre, otherwise known as Monastrell or Mataro, is rarely seen as a straight varietal in Australia. Here, it is most famous as a component of the trinity of Grenache, Shiraz, Mourvedre (GSM). On its own fully ripened Mourvedre can be a rich and flavoursome red. Around the world straight Mourvedres are gaining an appreciative audience with their distinctive dark fruited meatiness. This wine is a French demonstration of the Mourvedre grape's capabilities. Grown on calcerous soil on the warm Mediterranean coast, the Maison de la Villette Mourvedre immediately impresses with its intensity of colour and dark, spicy fruit aromas. On the palate, it is very long and full-bodied with well-balanced tannins. The finish gives an impression of velvety smoothness. It boasts loads of character and power! Ideal with grilled meats or aged cheese.

The Guigal family owns vineyards in prime locations throughout the Appellations of Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu, Hermitage and Saint-Joseph from where their iconic wines are produced. The Guigal cellars are located in the centre of the town of Ampuis, on the right bank of the Rhône River, about 40 km south of Lyon. The Côtes du Rhône region stretches 200 km from Vienne in the north to Avignon in the south. Côtes-du-Rhône is the workhorse red of the southern Rhône Valley and is blended from up to 13 grape varieties, but usually leans heavily on grenache and syrah (Shiraz). Deep, bright, garnet-red in colour, it is a fresh, crisp wine with small soft fruit and spices. A full-bodied, elegant wine, with mellow tannins, warmth and aromatic intensity.
