This wine is a celebration of Grant Burge as a 5th generation Barossa vigneron. This rich Cabernet Merlot has concentrated redcurrant and dark plum flavours, supported by fine tannins and spicy oak. The refined structure of this wine makes it a great match with a wide range of dishes including barbequed meats and hearty tomato dishes.

This wine is extremely fragrant, revealing aromas of fresh raspberries, maraschino cherries and peppery spices. The palate is medium bodied with flavours of juicy berries and soft tannins with exotic subtleties of pomogranate and rose. Matches perfectly well with slow cooked casseroles, stews and tomato-based dishes like spaghetti Bolognese.

Estate grown and fermented in small open top fermenters, our Shiraz shows plummy, red cherry, savoury and spice fruits with balanced acidity and tannins. Matured in /french oak for 24 months.

Deep and bright colours with a purple hue, the Optimist Shiraz also offers aromas of lifted satsuma plum, raspberry, violet flower, with a hint of cherry oak. The palate is bursting with bright fresh blue fruits, a rich middle palate with lots of satsuma plum and dark cherries. The wine reveals deep garnet and ruby hues on the eye. A nose of coffee grounds, cocoa powder, sage bush and brambled blueberry gives way to violets, smoked white spice, roasted coconut and cedar wood. On the palate the wine has fruit sweetness wrapped around lengthy, chalky tannins and touches of moreish olive tapenade to finish.

This wine from Limestone Coast has complex terroir of minerals layered with rich aroma of plum, blueberry and vanilla beans. It has the perfect balance between fluitiness and earthy complexity from the slighly acidic soil.

Produced from 30 year old vines situated in the southern end of the Barossa Valley the Cameron Vale Cabernet shows pronounced mint and blackcurrant flavours. Cellar for 3 - 5 years.
