An off-dry lower alcohol style, Felton Roads Bannockburn Riesling displays floral lift and fleshy stone fruit richness balanced by taut racy acidity. The fruit comes from Calvert & The Elms vineyards in the Bannockburn sub-region of Central Otago. The grapes are whole bunch pressed and fermented with indigenous yeasts, with the ferment arrested when the desired balance between acidity, alcohol and residual sugar is reached.

Jim Barry is a master of Riesling and this 2014 vintage won't disappoint. It opens with aromas of lifted spice, orange blossom and lime. This offers a huge volume of flavour of grapefruit, lime and spice, with a palate that exhibits great line and drive. There is a creaminess to the palate balanced by the crisp acidity on the finish.

The fragrant nose of this beautiful white wine gives off flower petal and fresh lime scents. The palate is filled with citrus fruit flavours supported by zingy acidity, culminating in a lively and elegant finale.

White gold in colour the Prophets Rock displays floral and citrus aromas and flavours with a strong underlying minerality. These aromas are echoed on the concentrated, crisp and lingering palate. The freshness and aromatics make this a great food wine which will harmonize with a diverse range of fish, seafood, salads and white meats.

From the immediate nose of lemon and lime, to the full weighty palate that includes some ripe pineapple characters, through the biting, cleansing, long, acid, ultra-dry finish, this is a great example of our Heathcote Riesling. Pale straw with green hues. A delicate, bouquet of lime and tropical fruits, with hints of green apple, citrus blossom and talc. Fresh and lively, lime and Granny Smith apples tantalise the taste buds, with a zingy, zesty mouth feel and great balance. The site where the Langmeil winery now sits was originally settled by Blacksmith Christian Auricht way back in 1842. Christian went on to establish a bakery, smithy, a butcher's shop and a cobbler as well as planting a 1 hectare vineyard on the estate. This vineyard, still in use today, has been called the Freedom 1843 block and is believed to be one of the oldest Shiraz vineyards in the world. Flash forward 160+ years and the Langmeil winery and vineyard is back in family hands, with Carl Lindner, Richard Lindner and Chris Bitter now owning this historic Barossan estate. Like many Barossan estates with a bent for traditional full bodied reds, Langmeil prefers open fermenters and basket presses, utilising these fabulously archaic methods for over half its grape intake of approximately 1000 tonnes. In a similar vein, the wines are only minimally handled and minimally filtered before bottling in an attempt to preserve natural flavour and complexity.

This Riesling from Bream Creek is made from vines over 40 years old. It has a rich nose, showing freshly cut lime, French citron tart, spice and floral notes. The palate reveals vibrant lime, lemon and grapefruit balanced against taut and lively Tasmanian acidity, resulting in a wine with excellent length and a crisp, refreshing finish. It is perfectly suited to fresh Tasmanian seafood and spicy Asian cuisine.
