The Nugan family named this wine after their grandfather, founder and inspiration - Alfredo Nugan. When a young Alfredo emigrated from Spain in 1940, he had a clear vision of his familys new life in Australia. Today, his legacy sees the Nugan family established as one of Australias most successful agricultural enterprises. This wine is a tribute to his vision and the passion he instilled in us, his family, to pursue his ideals of outstanding quality and service. Both the Sangiovese and Merlot are sourced from our Frascas Lane Vineyard in Victorias cool climate King Valley.

Grown in the Waihopai and Awatere Valleys. The Gris has aromas of white fleshed stonefruit and fresh pear, with a little vanilla pod, cardamom and citrus zest. Single Vineyard high altitude Chardonnay from the King Valley is harvested in the early morning cool hours and pressed immediately to maximise the vineyards flavour. Full rich aromas of lemon and peach and gentle oak. The complexity of this Chardonnay is the result of partial barrel fermentation in new, French oak barriques, followed by stirring of the yeast lees for several months. Bursting with white peach, lychee and melon, the crisp finish and length of flavour define this wine.

Sourced from the upper reaches of the King Valley. Fresh and crunchy. Classic grassy notes, asparagus spears and green passionfruit pulp aromas on the nose. The palate is immediately crisp, crunchy and fresh and shows flavours of citrus, gooseberries, passionfruit and river stones. All comes together with a crisp yet textural finish! Vegan friendly.
