Pizzini La Familiga Pinot Grigio

Zia Teresa King Valley Prosecco

Great for any occasion, Aussie Prosecco from the King Valley often shines. Perhaps no surprise as the region is home to many winemakers with Italian family backgrounds. This is a nicely-balanced, elegant, Italy-meets-Aus fizz, that lends a celebratory air to everyday occasions.

The Story Whitlands King Valley Riesling

Fabulous, great value King Valley Riesling with scores of 93 and 95pts. From winemaker Rory Lane at 5 Red Star-rated The Story Wines, situated in Victoria's Grampians region. “Light colour and a complex, possibly barrel-influenced bouquet that is multi-faceted and charming, at the same time obvious varietal riesling. Mouth-watering acidity and a crisp, intense, dry balance on the palate. Utterly delicious riesling in a more adventurous style. There's a judicious touch of sweetness in the centre, then sherbety acidity completes the balance beautifully. This would be great with a serious chill. 95pts” (Huon Hooke, The Real Review) “Red apple flavours drive assertively through the palate, aided and emboldened by limey acidity. A gentle sweetness to the fruit helps to soften the palate, the end result a highly enjoyable drink.93pts. Great Value” ( Campbell Mattinson, The Halliday Wine Companion)

Saddleback Pinot Gris

Peregrine Pinot Gris from Central Otago in New Zealand overflows with ripe pear, peach, mango, grapefruit and has an underlying steely minerality. It is well balanced and mouth filling with great persistence. Lovely drinking now, this wine will continue to develop over the next few years.

Chard Farm Pinot Gris

The aroma is very floral and complex offering ripe pear, dried herbs and flint. There is excellent fruit weight and texture on the palate, where the full ripe pear flavours lead to a fresh, spicy and long finish. Our Pinot Gris is made from fruit grown on our Tiger and Sinclair vineyards in the Parkburn area of Cromwell. All the grapes are hand harvested and fermented in small lots in stainless steel tanks helping to retain fruit purity and finesse. The wine is full, dry and textural, it displays excellent fruit structure, intensity and mineral length.

Billy Button Pinot Gris

Save Our Souls King Valley Pinot Grigio

Hints of kiwifruit and an undertone of white peach embraced by bright acidity giving it a fresh finish. Refreshing and dry, this wine matches perfectly with most dishes from crisp, fresco salads to fresh fish tacos with all the jalapeños. The King River flows down from the heights of Victoria’s Alpine region and has done so for millennia, slowly building a fertile plain of mineral rich alluvial soils. These soils are the broken-down bones of Victoria’s famous high-country. Cool air follows the river down from the mountains, settling in the valley and slowing the ripening of the fruit on the vines that sit alongside the majestic river. This cool climate produces subtle but complex wines that are beautifully balanced and finely structured.

Dal Zotto Arneis

Arneis, a crisp, crunchy, spicy Italian white originating from Piedmont, Italy, traditionally made without oak. Dal Zotto are owned and managed by the Dal Zotto family where their vineyards, winery and cellar door lie cradled in the tranquil King Valley in the foothills of the spectacular Victorian Alps of northeast Victoria. Their Arneis shows all the trademark lifted aromatics and crunchy acidity of its Italian cousins. Enjoy with great company and a plate of seared scallops.

Pizzini Pinot Grigio

Another outstanding Pinot Grigio from Pizzini. Aromas of ripe pear lead the way in the bouquet and the palate is fresh with crisp, zippy acidity very true to the grigio style. Enjoy it with seafood.

Pizzini Nonna Gisella

Named after Alfred Pizzini's grandmother, this is a medium bodied Sangiovese - warm and humble just like its namesake. Aromas of lightly spiced plums and cherries lead to hints of chocolate, leather and lovely savoury characters. The palate is generous and full flavoured with good length, soft tannins and flavours of plums and cherries.
