Mr. Killerman lived in a humble tin shed in the hills behind Kilikanoon. He foraged through the Clare Valley for his meals, finding wild rabbit and many other gourmet treats. Kevin Mitchell’s father Mort respected this man from the bush, as they both knew the secrets of the rich landscape. Characteristic Cabernet flavours of blackcurrants and dark chocolate are highlighted with touches of mint-cream. Malbec brings richness and vibrancy of colour, with red fruit, raspberry, and spiced plums. Cabernet’s firm tannins is balanced nicely with the generosity from Malbec, giving the wine great volume and length.
