Saint Clair Wairau Reserve Sauvignon Blanc

Beachwood Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc

Atop the ridge, Beachwood fruit is removed from the coldest nights, and benefits from the slightly breezier summer days. This brings out the tropical, slightly minerally notes in the fruit, and herby aromatics. Colour: Button grass green/ pale yellow. Nose: Aromatic, herby, nettles and white peach. Palate: Exploding fruit, zesty and refreshing. Classic Marlborough characters of peach, melon, a hint of passionfruit, and a lively acid balance clean finish.Food Match: Works really well with creamy sauces, and dips with flavours of garlic or artichoke. Perfect to take to your favourite Thai BYO, and balances well with a rich salad like a Caesar. Winemakers Comments: Lots of beautiful fruit to choose from this vintage. It was a big crop from the outset, so we had the luxury of reducing yield and intensifying flavours. Great vineyard management.

Miritu Bay Sauvignon Blanc

Nose: Aromatic and pungent. Lemon and white peach, nettles, green capsicum, hints of passionfruit. Palate: Intense classic Marlborough fruit characters with a combination of tropical white peach type characters and fresh cut grass with lively acidity. Clean long and refreshing finish. Best Drinking: Anytime from now to 2021. Serve chilled. Wine Makers Notes: When the fruit comes in such great condition, its kudos to the guys in the vineyard. The intensity and fresh characteristics of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc are brought to the fore.

Native & Ancient Pet Nat Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc

Native & Ancient explores the interaction between microbiology and human intervention, of man and nature, through a series of natural wines. The grapes for this wine are organically farmed Sauvignon Blanc sourced from Block 4 on the Isabel Estate Vineyard. The wine style, Pet Nat or Petillant Naturel translates to naturally sparkling and is achieved by bottling the wine while it is still fermenting. The wine is made in as natural a way as possible, harking back to ancient winemaking techniques, it is unfined and unfiltered with no added sulphites. A great way to kick off your weekend BBQ, refreshing, lightly sparkling, lots of ripe tropical fruit. A real fruit salad of flavours followed by a textural slightly biscuity finish. Delicious.
