This is winemaker Larry Cherubino at his best, producing this Yarra Valley Chardonnay Premium Cuvée that delivers immediate appeal, with satisfying flavours.Very pale and bright. Pretty nose of white peach, red apple, oatmeal and jasmine. Very dry and refined, with saline complexity alongside the core of citrus and fig, with tight lime juicy acidity, creamy mousse and a savoury finish.

The wine pours well with impressive mousse, followed by a fine bead with moderate persistence. Deep straw colour base wine. The nose is showing some developed character with aroma of yeast lees, cashew and biscuit with honeycomb end note. Creamy textured palate, with flavours of strawberry, yeast lees and biscuit. Clean acid finish. Creamy strawberry aftertaste. A very good Commercial style. A plentiful mousse sits atop a pale straw base that has gold tinged edges and a fine persistent bead. Toasty yeast lees scents are intermeshed with baked bread, citrus, light honeyed notes and traces of nut. The palate is tense and sculptured with racy acidity running through toast, subtly honeyed pear, yeast lees and roasted nut flavours. Dry crisp finish with a long aftertaste that builds a sense of creaminess as it lingers. Drink over the next 2-3 years. Alc. 12.5%

Made from organic Lagrein grapes, this is a unique style Sparkling Rose, and a must try for any Rose lover! Opening with a fresh sweetness, the wine displays a complex flavour profile featuring nuanced hints of earthy beetroot, fresh guava and confectionary watermelon. With a lovely dry finish, it is well suited to Asian dishes such as chilli prawns and salt and pepper squid.
