The clever team from this winery have created three labels that that all over deliver that their price points. The middle tier, Stella Bella, is a Fine Wine favourite, and this blend shows why. Fresh citrus, gooseberry, custard apple, stone fruits, sweet herbs & spice are all rolled into one great little wine.

This 'dry' style features lifted notes of tropical fruit of which lychee, red apple and pineapple spring to mind. That characteristic lingering, zesty finish makes for perfect drinking with a wide variety of cuisines.

The grapes for the KarriBindi Sparkling Chardonnay Pinot were hand picked in the cool of the morning and then gently pressed as whole bunches to preserve their true fruit characters. It was then bottled fermented and matured on lees for 36 months in the traditional method.This is a vintage brut; dry and crisp with an elegant lingering finish.Each mouthful is enhanced by the finest of bubbles and delicate fruit flavours.

Tasting: This Chardonnay captures the very essence of what Margaret River Chardonnay is highly regarded for while simutaneaously including a modern palate. Great fruit expression with creamy stone fruit and fresh apple melded with bright citrus with a hint of tropical fruit. Rich mouthfeel and rounded palate siplaying hints of vanilla and butterscotch. Winemaking:Mostle machine harvested at night with some early morning handpicked fruit. Pressed into stainless steel tanks to settle, then racked to barrel while still hazy for wild ferment, allowing natural expression. Aged in a mix of old and new French barrels, with some lees stirring to build up texture and creaminess. Barrels carefully selected and blended to create the desired Chardonnay.

Once & Well is an elegant example of Chardonnay from the cool climate of Margaret River. Once & Well sets a high benchmark for this wine style. Ripe stone fruit and spring florals with hints of spice and oak on the nose, this wine has a mouth watering acidity structure that complement the richer mouthfill of the wine beautifully.

Attractive aromas of citrus and tropical fruits with hints of nougat and talc. The medium weight textural palate displays vibrant flavours of citrus fruits, dried pears and some riper tropical notes. The restrained use of French oak and wild yeast fermentation adds subtle complexity and texture to the palate which finishes with a clean mineral edge.

Clean grapefruit on the nose and palate balanced by crisp, fresh acidity on the finish. This is a classic Margaret River dry white. Blend of two-thirds Sauvignon Blanc and one-third Semillon gets a touch of barrel aging, reflected in its silky texture more than any overt aromas or flavours. The palate is fruit-forward, offering hints of citrus, under ripe nectarine and green apple, finishing long and mouth-watering. Overall a youthful and vibrant blend.

Aromas of almond, cashew and peach and fine oak on the nose. Citrus flavours balanced with a honey type viscosity dominate the palate. Long length and classy acidity sees the wine finish off with power and delicacy in balance.

Chardonnay is our favourite grape and this wine, from Oatley family vineyards at Mudgee, delivers a modern take on the Australian style: full-bodied yet crisp, with citrus and melon fruit flavours. Roast poultry or pork will partner it well.
