Widow Jane 10 Year Old Bourbon
It takes sweet water from tough rock to make great whiskey. Widow Jane 10 years old is a blend of whiskeys from Kentucky, Tennesse and Indiana, assembled in Brooklyn using water from the Widow Jane Limestone Mine in Rosendale, New York, which is even richer in minerals than the pure waters of Kentucky. Bottled at 45.5%, it does make a beautiful Bourbon!Tasting note from the Ultimate Beverage Challenge 1998. 93 points.NOSE: reminiscent of maple kissed breakfast pancakes with a side of bacon.PALATE: presents and astoundingly smooth profile, where rich flavors of plantains in browned butter, cocoa nibs, and orange marmalade sing in harmony.A warm, pleasing finish begs another sip. High West Whiskey American Prairie Bourbon
Meet the American West's most innovative and inviting bourbon. A blend of straight bourbon whiskeys aged a minimum of two years in charred white American oak barrels. Never chill-filtered or carbon-treated and utilising a variety of high rye content mash bills to convey an earthy complexity (with a bit of spice). The perfect marriage of richness and brightness expressed by notes of honey nougat, sweet cornbread biscuits, and lemon zest with caramel apples and pecan pie lingering on the finish. Whether sipped or stirred, this bourbon is blended to be your tried and true. Nose: Light caramel and sweet vanilla. Taste: Rich and earthy on the palate with well-balanced flavours of candy corn, honey nougat and sweet corn bread biscuits. Enjoy: Great in cocktails, but has the complexity to stand on its own.
Nelson County Bourbon & Cola
Wild Turkey Rare Breed Bourbon
In 1869, The Ripy family built the foundations of what is known today as the Wild Turkey Bourbon distillery. Wild Turkey Kentucky Straight Bourbon is still produced using the same traditional technique, handcrafted by Master Distiller Eddie Russell alongside his father Jimmy Russell. Combined, the pair have over 97 years of experience and are the only active father and son Master Distiller team in the world. Rare Breed is abarrel-proof bourbon meaning it is bottled directly from a variety of barrels at the proof it reaches in those barrels with no added water to lower the proof or dilute the flavour. This bourbon is a unique marriage of Wild Turkey 6 to and 12-year-olod stocks, which give the whiskey a rich exceptional flavour that is remarkably smooth considering its high alcohol content.
Evan Williams Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey
Evan Williams is America's second largest selling Kentucky Straight Bourbon whiskey. This whiskey has grown up well. The body is medium to light, and the palate bears some leather, cedar, vanilla and hints of caramel. The finish is medium to long, and oh, so warm and soothing. Overall here's an around the house bottling that's a lot more sophisticated than expected. Drink it on ice, with a splash of water or club soda, or make above-average cocktails and mixed drinks with this bourbon. - Gary & Mardee Haidin Regan Co-authors, The Book of Bourbon.
