The palate is tense and sculptured with racy acidity running through toast, subtly honeyed pear, yeast lees and roasted nut flavours. Destemmed and fermented on skins like all our Pinot Noir wines. It was on skins for 5 weeks before being pressed to old puncheons before being bottled unfined and unfiltered without any additions. There’s some blood orange and musk sticks on the nose. The musk follows on the palate and there is some juicy strawberry flavours too. It finishes with a waft of tannin to refresh your palate.
