Concentrated and intense yet built in an elegant framework. Grenache provides beautiful lifted sappy red fruits with floral accents, Shiraz provides mid-palate richness with some spicy overtones and Mataro rounds out the blend providing structure and savoury meatiness.

Dark fruit aromas of baked plum, blackberry and dark cherry compote. Cocoa dust, red licquorice and butterscotch also add a layer of complexity and sweetness to the nose. Mouth coating dark fruit fills the palate, with hints of leather and black pepper, tannins are soft, round and roll throughout the finish.

Produced from 30 year old vines situated in the southern end of the Barossa Valley the Cameron Vale Cabernet shows pronounced mint and blackcurrant flavours. Cellar for 3 - 5 years.

A significant contribution of fruit from vines which are 100 years old make this one very special blend indeed. There’s a class and sophistication to what is a delicious medium bodied and brightly fruited red.
