Pewsey Vale Vineyard Prima Riesling

Pewsey Vale Vineyard Prima Riesling exhibits the purity of style that is a distinct characteristic of every vintage of this wine. Very pale in colour with green hues, the aroma has a hint of the classic Pewsey Vale Riesling characters but is most redolent of white nectarines and lychees. The palate shows great length and finesses with a vibrancy of perfumed fruits such as guava and mandarin overlaid with a touch of white cherry, sorbet and clove. The balance of the wine is succulent and mouth-watering, inviting a second glass. This wine will cellar well, slowly developing flavour layers of fresh toast and spice.

Tomfoolery Cut & Run Eden Valley Riesling

Over an ale or three a treasure map is drawn, its destination a parcel of unclaimed old vine Riesling. A rabble of scallywags are conscripted for the voyage and after rowdy debate and eventual munity, the grail is found. With shots over the bow the prize is plundered and they fled like pirates. Winemakers Notes Definitely very drinkable now for the lovers of fresh delicate Rieslings but is picked early and built to reward the serious cellaring types. ‘I’m Lucky enough to me mentored by on of Australia’s true Riesling legends. Thanks Andrew Wigan’ – Ben Chipman Colour: Clear Straw Bouquet: lime citrus, spice, mineral Palate: Delicately weighted with upfront Bickford lime juice, bursts of acidity with juicy fruit and solid rocky back bone to go the journey.

Ziegler Eden Valley Riesling

With shallow, mineral-rich soils as indicated by rocky outcrops and scattered “Fieldstones”, the Zieglers identified the Eden Valley as an ideal location to grow elegant Riesling. Aromatic with bright citrus and honeysuckle flavours, natural acidity and a crisp, dry finish.

Hutton Vale Farm Off Dry Riesling

Zesty and driven, the fresh citrus fruit is lifted by perfumed delicate florals and struck flint. A zip of acidity on the palate balances well the generosity of fruit, with a long and textured finish. Drink cold on a hot day for maximum refreshment or, if you have the patience, squirrel a few away to be rewarded over the next 5-10 years.

Pewsey Vale Block Riesling

Langtons is proud to be first to market with the inaugural vintage of this Riesling, a selection from a very special part of the famous Contours vineyard. When it comes to Eden Valley Riesling, no name is greater than the Langtons Classified Contours Riesling from Pewsey Vale. The Contours vineyard was first planted in 1841, but the distinctive site we know today -- with vines planted along the contours of an Eden Valley hillside rather than in straight rows -- dates from the 1960s. From 1961 in fact, and this new wine comes from a single block of the oldest vines, planted in that year on a north-facing slope. The Contours Riesling is released with five years of bottle age. This new wine -- although almost equally ageworthy -- is a more approachable style and therefore suitable for release (like most other Rieslings) in the year following vintage. For many (or most) the 1961 Block Riesling will be indistinguishable from The Contours. The value here is obvious.

Mesh Eden Valley Riesling

The wine is green and vibrant in appearance, with aromas of zesty lemon and grapefruit. An intense and generous palate, with lively citrus fruit and hints of talc. The wine finishes clean and dry with refreshing, long acidity. As is the case with all great Eden Valley Rieslings, mesh will age gracefully and reliably into a mature wine under the Stelvin closure.

Dandelion Vineyards Wonderland of the Eden Valley Riesling

Pristine pale-straw with striking fluorescent green tinges around the rim edge. A gem-like and shimmeringly scented aroma of glittering, glimmering, glistening purity, poise and incandescence; lime blossom and honey suckle flower intensity is as pure as it is invigorating. An extraordinarily precise and clean citrus fruit spectrum - mandarin, bergamot, lemon, pomelo and lime. Essence of mandarin is underscored by a lilting harmony of stone-fruits, before searing, speeding, linear acidity escort lemon-meringue flavours to the palate's long finish.

Burge Family Winemakers Riesling, Eden Valley

Mount Macleod Chardonnay

Expressive aromas of lemon and grapefruit, with subtle mineral overtones and hints of vanilla and spice. A leaner style of Chardonnay with unusual complexity and interest for this sort of price and which will complement a range of dishes.
