SEPPELTSFIELD EC3 Tinta Cao Tinta Amarela Touriga, Barossa

Very dark colour, complex nose of blackberry/mulberry and plums with a touch of oak spice, palate is rich and full flavoured with blackberry/dark plum fruit softly textured and layered structure with integrated vanillin oak and fine tannins on the finish. An iron fist in a velvet glove style which is well suited to quality grilled beef such as rib eye.

Made from Vineyard to bottle. Low yields cool climate grapes from Nangkita Single Vineyard. Deep sandy soil and limestone beneath, rich in elements for natural aromas and flavours. Berry rich and intense formed with oaks. Richly fruited and immediately appealing with blackberry, sweet cherry, rich floral and spicy oak characters on the nose, followed by a wonderfully weighty palate offering richness with supple texture and fine tannins. The dense purple red colour highlights the aroma of dark cherry, blackberry and cedar oak. The palate is full of intense dark fruits, with supporting mocha oak, sweet spices and hints of black pepper. The velvety tannins support the fruit and focus the length of flavours to produce a seamless wine with the potential to age for 10 or more years

Colour is deep red. The nose shows aniseed, tar, FruChocs and spicy oak. The fine palate entry has mulberry, cranberry, aniseed and liquorice flowing delicately with Rhone-like spicy, chewy, savoury tannins.
