Grape variety - 100% Shiraz. Oak maturation - Portions of old and new French oak for 15 months. Colour - Medium-deep red with purple hue. A classic provençal style of Rosé known for its pale colour and light,dry elegance. This Rosé is made solely from Shiraz our Margaret Riveralternative grape, grown in our own vineyards.

This vintage was co-fermented with 7.5% viognier to give the shiraz a more intensely perfumed bouquet and silkier texture. The palate has a wonderfully dry texture which gives a savoury character to the shiraz: dark plum, briary, brambly flavous and a fleshy, almost silky texture and a long, dry finish of considerable length.

KarriBindi's Shiraz grapes are from mature vines growing on a north facing slope of karri loam and gravel soils. The wine was carefully aged in a mixture of new and old French barrels to enhance the fruit flavours but not overpower them. The deep red colour precedes aromas of cedar, all spice, black pepper, and mocha. The palate is focussed with fine grained velvety tannins, showcasing succulent plum, cherry and blackberry flavours.

Margaret River Shiraz Viognier 2018. The great red wines of the northern Rhone in France are made up of two grape varieties one red variety being Syrah, what we refer to as Shiraz in Australia and one white variety namely Viognier.Intense aromas of red fruits, cherries, cranberries, with liquorice coated raspberry confectionary sweetness. Layers of spice, cashew nuts and tabacco dance together with the subtle apricot lift.A lovely soft and round wine. A generous mid pallet of the red fruits and spice dominate the mouthfeel. The fine tannins create a length of succulence and balance

This is a complex, compelling wine with dark plums and ripe anise-like spice on the nose, silky tannins and understated oak nicely completing this moreish Shiraz.

Voyager Estate Shiraz is deep red in colour with an explosive nose of oak blackberries and spice that is succeeded by a rich flavoursome palate and some chewy tannins. Will improve wonderfully with time.
