Marqués de Riscal Próximo Rioja
Marqués de Riscal Próximo is a new addition to the Marqués range and is a bright and fruit driven Rioja style sourced from slightly younger Tempranillo vines. Very strict parcel selection along with traditional picking techniques, this Rioja is bursting with dark blackberry fruit with notes of rich, ripe plums. Hints of liquorice and star anise also give the wine a superb backbone that is perfectly suited many Mediterranean cuisines.

Marqués de Riscal Reserva Rioja
The Reserva Tempranillo blend from iconic Riojan producer, Marqués de Riscal is made from fruit sourced from outstanding vineyard sites that are in excess of 15 years of age. This fruit is able to withstand the lengthy maturation process in oak due to the fine, complex tannin and acid structure. The resulting wine is classically savoury with notes of dark berries and toasty oak. The palate is long and rounded with interesting hint of spice.
Teusner The Independent Shiraz Mataro
From Kym Teusner, one of Australias most iconic winemakers right now, this exceptional Shiraz Mataro drinks like twice the price. If you didnt know in a blind tasting that it was a $30 wine, youd be quite happy paying $40 or $50. The Shiraz leads with loads of really beautiful, bold, opulent fruit thats typical of the Barossa, while the Mataro sits in the background, plumping up the tannins like a Cabernet, to add definition and structural balance. The two are just working together so well and thats why we simply couldnt deny this wine the best of the best. Simply superb!
Torbreck The Steading Grenache Blend
One of the bast examples going around. Incredibly ripe and sweet fruited bouquet and palate, showing Grenache's love for the heat; soft and ripe, warm and fleshy, with a splash of savoury spice to conclude.
The People's Wine Spanish Tempranillo
The People's Wine - handcrafters inside and out. That's why we've put art on the label and our winemakers have crafters art inside the bottle too. This Tempranillo is packed full of red fruits and rounded off with spice. A fresh and fruity wine with a long finish.
Marqués de Murrieta Reserva Tempranillo Blend
What a coup to get this wine into our range. Certainly and deservedly one of the most highly regarded Rioja producers. These are the Riojas from which dreams are made. Think leather chesterfields, smoked meats and cigar-box.
Running With Bulls Barossa Garnacha
Pouring a gorgeous raspberry hue with aromas of fresh coriander and grated nutmeg. Silky in texture with a juicy palate comprising strawberries and blood orange. Partial whole bunch fermented delivering a subtle amount of warming spice to finish. Sam Wigan started out in the wine industry by working a vintage with his father at Peter Lehmann wines before heading to Geyser Peak in California. Returning to Australia with the winemaking bug, Sams style involves letting the varietal characteristics of the grapes shine through, by using natural/wild fermentation and malolactic fermentation, with minimal additions and no finings. Having a nice meal with friends and family is one of his favourite things, so he crafts the wines to be fun, drinkable and best enjoyed with food and good company. Wolf Blass Red Label Shiraz Grenache
Wolf Blass Red Label Shiraz Grenache is extremely soft and approachable, displaying rich plum and cherry characters with a hint of spice. Awarded the best-value red trophy at this year's Royal Sydney Wine Show, this punches way above value. It selects vibrant cherry fruit in first gear, then shifts into an easygoing drinkability with a dash of spice to liven up the palate. Dependable in the glass it suits light, Mediterranean foods. - Daily Telegraph, Sydney, 07 Jun 2014, Tony Love.
