Grape Varietal: Durif Vineyard Region: Riverina Colour: Medium deep purple. Aroma: Aromas of raspberry and fruits of the forest, hints of milk chocolate and blackcurrant coulee, with undertones of oak characters of pinewood. Palate: Dark and full bodied, yet not over the top. Flavours of dark black forest fruit, raspberry sauce and cocoa nib. Finishes with oak derived notes of coffee and pine needle, with long sinuous tannins. Alcohol: 14.5% pH: 3.59 TA: 5.83 RS: 2.6 Peak Drinking: Drink now or over the next 5-8 years

This wine is an un-oaked blend, sourced from the colder climate of South East Australia. Several blending trials were undertaken to develop the best of these two wine varieties. Fresh, crisp, refreshing, with abundant citrus flavours. The palate is clean with balanced acid and an elegant dry finish.

Tawny red and golden brown colour. Rich, nutty aroma with dried fruit and spices. Smooth mouth feel with beautifully blended fruit and tannin characters. Lingering, savoury finish. An exciting blend of vintages, some over 33 years old.
