Now available in these cute little 200mL piccolo bottles, Since hitting the scene in 1997 Bird in Hand has enjoyed a relative cult following. This popular sparkling opens with unmistakeable Pinot aromatics of strawberries, cherry and a subtle floral lift. The ripe red fruit flavours are balanced by some crisp acidity and creamy texture.

This latest release from Petaluma Croser is a non vintage sparkling wine. The classic blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay offers a delicate bouquet of fresh citrus and white peach with a light yeastiness on the nose. Persistence bubbles with a dry long finish.

Variety: 65% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir. Colour: Pale salmon Straw Bouquet: Delicate aromas of citrus blossom, nectarine and white peach. Palate: Layered creamy soft palate with vibrant bead. Underlying mineral acidity carrying hints of citrus and stone fruit finishing with clean, crisp acidity.

Aged for extended time on its yeast lees, it has complex fruit and with ageing is still fresh with strawberries, cherries and Granny Smith apples. Made from estate dry grown hand-picked grapes from the coolest part of our vineyard, this blend of Pinot Noir 55% & Chardonnay 45% made in the true French Champagne method displays a gently perfumed bouquet, balanced brilliantly with crisp acidity and a lively palate leading to a rich brioche & creamy finish, 30 months on lees, disgorged February 2020.

With a blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, the bouquet offers delightful lifted aromas of strawberry, lemon citrus and underlying notes of biscotti. The palate is elegant and well integrated displaying intense strawberry, nectarine and cashew characters enhanced by partial malolactic fermentation and extended time on yeast lees. The natural acidity provides excellent structure and finesse, with a mouthwatering citrus and nougat finish.
