The friends in this French Alsace style blend are 'aromatic varieties', probably riesling and gewurztraminer. The colour is pale, the bouquet is sweetly fragrant and floral. A dab of sweetness, full, rich and satisfying.

From Kate Goodman's team, who already bring us the wonderful Punt Rd range, this second label perpetuates their well deserved reputation. This is a soft, fruit driven Pinot from sites around the Yarra Valley. It offers great complexity at this price.

Toolangi is a state forest just outside Healesville that was devastated during Black Saturday. The excellent vineyards remain, and continue to produce wines of personality and place. The Chardonnay combines varietal characters of quince and crab apple with some delicious nutty oak nuances. Its great value.

Bright pale yellow, there is nothing Innocent about this Pinot Gris! An extremely well made wine with distinct pear and freshly cut green apple slice on the nose followed by similar varietal characters on the palate. It is satisfyingly crisp with great acidity structure to be one of the great summer enjoyment.

Sticks Yarra Valley Chardonnay is a quality cool climate Yarra Valley white with flavours of grapefruit, white peach, citrus and oak spice. Excellent texture, definitely a wine to enjoy today.

Grown on the Bunnamagoo vineyards in Mudgee and held in French oak for nine months and stirred often to aid the final texture. The result is a wine that shows notes of grass and lemon with a complex hint of dough. The flavours continue on the textured palate with fine acidity and good length.

Yering Station, located in the heart of the Yarra Valley, is home to some of Australia's greatest Chardonnay. Their Little Yering Chardonnay provides all the complex aromas and flavours you expect from the artisans from the Melba Highway, but with a price tag that more than friendly. Innocent Bystander produces a stylish Chardonnay that shows stonefruit melon and vanillin oak on the nose. The palate has lovely creamy mouthfeel and flavours of butterscotch and citrus with minerally acidity on the finish.
