Torbreck The Struie Shiraz
The Shiraz grapes for The Struie come from old vines in the Barossa and Eden Valleys. The Eden component brings floral spicy aromas that are supported by more brooding notes of tar and chocolate from the Barossa. The palate is luscious and silky, and this is a Fine Wine favourite.
Dandelion Vineyards Menagerie of the Barossa GSM
Intriguing aromas of rose petals and a summer pudding of lifted red fruits, berries and a hit of cinnamon and Asian spice. The palate is opulent, with intense red berries balanced by soft velvety tannins and supple oak with great balance from the acid reknown in Barossa Grenache. 'The cold, wet 2011 vintage hit the Barossa Valley particularly hard, wiping out huge tracts of vineyards. Dandelion's blend, then, came as a delightful surprise a tender, juicy, seductive drop that made the bottle seem too small. It's a blend of grenache (85 per cent), shiraz (10 per cent) and mataro (aka mourvedre or monastrell). The back label hints at how winemaker Elena Brooks and the Dandelion crew saved the day, "handpicking selected bunches" (that is, avoiding the rotten ones) of the three varieties for co-fermentation and ultimate success. What a moreish wine this is'. - Canberra Times, 15 May 2013, by Chris Shanahan.
Elderton East Wing Barossa Shiraz
A rich, classically styled, medium to full-bodied Shiraz with ample richness, a softly textured supple mouthfeel, and lifted flavours of ripe dark plum, liquorice, dark chocolate and toasty vanillin oak gliding across the palate.
Isolde Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon
GI: Craneford (Eden Valley) and Ebenezer (Barossa Valley). Dark scarlet red with black edge. Wonderfully ripe and fragrant, the nose is filled with dark plum, cassis and subtle toasted almond. Beautifully weighted, the intense fruit flavours of plum and blackcurrant are complexed by earthy tobacco and oak spice. An elegant and flavoursome wine of harmonious fruit and polished tannins. Matured in French oak (20% new) for 24 months (4 year air dried oak. Francois Frere and Taransaud Coopers – tight grain.) Perfect for herbed lamb or salt and pepper pork on greens. "So very Cabernet, this is a fab drink from the Barossa's Sorby Adams. Well priced, this is drinking superbly now but will also reward medium-term cellaring." Ken Gargett, Wine Pilot & The Vintage Journal Tristan & Isolde is a medieval tale of two star-crossed lovers, Knight Tristan and Princess Isolde, told from the 12th century. The Sorby Adams wine label honours John Couch Adams, an ancestor of Simon Sorby Adams, who mathematically proved Neptune's existence.

Two Hands Pictures Gnarly Dudes Shiraz
Two Hands is a winery that rarely puts a foot wrong, and the 'Gnarly Dudes' is no exception. The Gnarly refers to the gnarled old Shiraz vines this wine comes from. The nose jumps immediately out of the glass with hints of Asian spice, blackcurrant, rasberry, black pepper, anise and the slightest waft of perfumed violets. The palate gives up a generous hit of black cherry and liquorice. With great complexity, heavy tannins and a brilliant long length, this is a wine that will greatly reward a few years in the cellar.
