The Maretti Langhe Rosso weaves rich and opulent Barbera (70%) with the haunting aromas and structure of Nebbiolo (30%) to create an inviting and rewarding wine with layers of complexity one that is truly expressive of this unique wine region.

On the palate it is very vigorous, rich in extracts, with lively and pleasant tannins that are rounded through a skilful use of wood. A powerful, tantalizing Nebbiolo by Luigi Pira with a great ageing potential.

Le Ragnaie winery extends over 28 hectres in the county of Montalcino which is located in the Province of Siena. The Le Ragnaie Brunello Di Montalcino is lengthy with lingering flavours of plum, berry and chocolate.

When young, Fontanafredda Langhe Nebbiolo features a fragrance which is wonderfully spontaneous and full of surprise. In its bouquet, colour, and generous, velvety body this wine brings out all the typical qualities of the grape it is made from. Later in life, its colour becomes garnet-red with strong orange shades, and its nose deepens, with traces of withered flowers, such as rose and above-all geraniums. It's warm, soft, well-bodied flavour is velvety and well-balanced, lingering in the mouth.

Luciano Sandrone crafts wines of profound integrity, purity and deep expression. The Valmaggiore vineyard in the Roero hills, on the left bank of the Tanaro river, is one of the best historic sources of origin and quality. Already in the nineteenth century, the Nebbiolo grapes grown in this vineyard were so highly regarded that they dictated the price for the entire territory.
