Our Barolo comes from the best plots of seven cru. The diversity of soils, exposure and altitude characterises each of these small but very important terroir. Unifying these diversities, the Barolo offers harmony and complexity with an overall character of the zone. Brilliant ruby to garnet red in colour. Among the aromatics we recognise rose hip, violet, iodate perfumes, ashes, tobacco, white peaches, red cherries, balsamic elements such as fresh mint to name some. On the palate it's full on energy and all about freshness and finesse. The acidity is sharp, the tannins have a beautiful tension yet they are harmonious in the structure. Bricco Ambrogio has an intense and multifaced aromatic spectrum. The core is soft and polished through a beautiful acid-tannic balance. There is an underlying depth in this Barolo and the finish is long and nuanced.

First produced in 1911. The fruit for Massolino's classic Nebbiolo cuvée is selected from seven sites, representing roughly seven hectares of prime-sited Serralunga vineyards. The oldest vines that feed this bottling are 55 years old (the youngest are 10), and it spends 24 months in large Slovenian oak (only).

This is our second release of Nebbiolo from TarraWarra. It is ideally suited to the Yarra Valley and is thriving in its location, yielding a wine that has classic Nebbiolo perfume and structure. The wine has a bright garnet colour, aromas of roses, smoked meats and spice, while the palate has bright fruit driven home by characteristic Nebbiolo tannins. It will reward years of cellaring.

Nervi is a historic, benchmark Gattinara producer with 28.5ha of highly-prized Nebbiolo vineyards across the appellation, in the northern part of Piedmont. The modern Nervi was founded in 1906 by Luigi Nervi. Molsino is one of the estates two top named sites -- a historic cru with mentions in town records as far back as 1471. The Nervi family ran the estate until the 1990s, and in 2011 it was purchased by investors who brought in the leading Barolo figure Roberto Conterno as a consultant. Gattinara represents the purest expression of the northern [Piedmont] zones. Vino Italiano - David Lynch and Joe Bastianich In May 2018 Conterno purchased the estate. Gattinara was awarded DOC status in 1967, and upgraded to DOCG in 1990. Gravelly clay soils remnants of an ancient collapsed volcano -- are rich in granite and other minerals including iron, zinc, magnesium and manganese. The terroir gives the wines a distinct minerality which sets them apart from the neighbouring appellations. Molsino matures for at least four years in large oak vats.
