Sourced and grown in the Adelaide Hills, this is a fine example of how good Chardonnay from this region can be. This is a blend of 3 different cultivars of the Chardonnay grape. Bunch pressed and in part wild fermented. Partial malolactic fermentation imparts further complexity. A beautifully textured and complex wine.

Mumm Marlborough Brut Prestige is a distinctive sparkling wine that marries the best of New Zealand Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier grapes with Méthode Traditionnelle techniques from the French Champagne Maison Mumm. The result is a refined, elegant wine of exceptional quality & delightful fruity notes. Notes of fresh fruit (pear, apricot, peach, and citrus) dominate, complemented by notes of honey and biscuit. After a frank and lively attack, fresh fruit notes permit a beautiful balance on the palate. A tense and attractive structured finish. Aged for a minimum of two years in our cellars.

Wirra Wirra Single Vineyard Yandra Chardonnay
Pale straw with pear green at the edge. Bouquet An exquisite nose combines subtle flint with citrus blossom, verbena and white peony. Uncompromising varietal purity is joined by secondary complexities as baked almond pastry and subtle spice reveal time in oak with elegance and subtlety. Palate Terrific natural acidity is cut with lemon curd, natural yoghurt and crème fraiche. The gentle layering of secondary elements (hazelnut, biscuit and almond meal) builds shape and body. Pristine fruit and impeccable oak yield linearity and focus to a palate with stunning length and persistent, fine texture.
Atlas Wines Adelaide Hills Chardonnay
The fruit for this wine was grown at the Hill Smith Vineyard at Woodside in the Adelaide Hills. The vines at this east-facing vineyard grow in alluvial loam, limestone, shale and quartz, at an altitude of around 400m. Thanks to near-perfect weather, 2021 promises to be one of the best Adelaide Hills vintages in recent memory.
