Our Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes are harvested from our beautiful Gumeracha vineyard. These grapes are then exposed to the traditional techniques of whole bunch pressing, bottle fermentation and maturation on yeast lees to allow the creation of an elegant wine with purity of fruit, subtle savoury complexity and finesse. Its mesmerising bouquet flaunts citrus blossom and white peach notes highlighted by strawberry blossom and lemon zest fragrances. On the palate, the wine enjoys limes and nectarines with the flavours of the palate beautifully balanced with clean acidity that refreshes the senses.

Hand-picked on the 4th March, pressed to French oak puncheons for natural fermentation, 30% malolactic, 11 months on yeast lees, filtered and bottled.1270 bottles produced.

Aged for extended time on its yeast lees, it has complex fruit and with ageing is still fresh with strawberries, cherries and Granny Smith apples. Ten months in French oak (30% new), the fruit from one of our highest yielding vintages is brilliant straw green in colour and displays light citrus aromas combined with white stonefruit and a wonderful creamy multi layered finish from extended time on lees. Excellent cellaring potential.

Lovely light bead, gently bottle carbonated by the French method which means hand riddling and disgorging to remove the yeast from the bottle. Not too acidic and lovely fruit on the palate.
