Concentration shows in the colour and aroma of this shiraz, as well as the powerful, full-bodied palate, which shows guts and grip, if not great elegance. The wine is matured in old French oak and tanks, with each parcel kept separate until the final blending prior to bottling in October 2017. Firm tannins powder-coat the palate, gently drying and setting up persistent flavours of red plum, star anise and aniseed.
