Chemins de Gascogne Cotes de Gascogne
Truly the most versatile white we saw in in the entire tasting line up! This wine from the foothills of the Pyrenees holds appeal for both sauvignon and chardonnay drinkers alike. In the south-west of France life is simple and joyful. Its also a perfect way to describe the Chemins de Gascogne. Located in the foothills of the Pyrenees Mountains, the vineyards are subject to very warm summer days and very cool nights. The grapes are harvested during September in the dead of night to preserve the aromatics. The wine, a blend of chardonnay and the local colombard grape, exhibits every bit of this labour of love. Our golden child from south-west France, we were blown away by this textured and zippy white with its unique orchard fruit flavours. Simply delicious!

Amberley Western Australia Chenin Blanc
Grown under the warm Western Australian sun and cooled by local sea breezes, the Amberley vineyards produce fruit with vibrant, attractive fruit flavours expressed through our wines. The Chenin Blanc fruit shows the classic varietal characters of honey and apple. Tasting Notes: bright, pale straw with a green hue, this wine displays clean, fresh aromas of green apple and pear on the nose. There are underlying hints of honeysuckle and toasty notes, adding complexity. Off-dry, with a crisp acidity that refreshes the middle and back palate, the high fruit intensity shows juicy characters of Fuji apples, apple blossom and lime, concluding with attractive honey right at the finish.
