On the palate there are flavours of green apples and melon unfolding into layers of citrus and minerality. This wine is crisp and clean and will better suit fresh salads and grilled seafood while it's young.

The village of Saint Amour gives its name to this wine. Produced from a 47 year old gamay vineyard, this wine impresses with wonderful complexity and supple, rich and smooth flavours.

Domaine Pichot is a 24Ha family estate in Vouvray on the right bank of the Loire, where vignerons dedicate their time to the cultivation of Chenin Blanc, locally coined ‘Pineau de la Loire’, to produce dry, sweet and sparkling whites. Demi-sec Vouvray is, after sparkling Vouvray, the most popular wine of the appellation and perhaps the most typical showing Chenin Blanc at it most perfumed and expressive with just a delicate sweetness balancing the lively acidity. Brilliant pale straw colour with subtle reflections of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. Pronounced ripe pear, honeysuckle and quince scents are followed by some baked apple and spice notes. Showing good intensity across the palate are rich, luscious pear and baked apple favours which mix with honeysuckle, musk and spice. Refreshing off dry finish with a long fruity aftertaste. Houghton made wine for 101 years before Jack Mann created the iconic, and incredibly influential, White Burgundy in 1937. In 2023, more than 80 years on, Houghton honoured this history with the release of this exquisite old vine chenin blanc from Margaret River. With a foot in the past and an eye on the future, EV/37 represents chenin blanc at its best—vibrant, delicate, layered, textural.

Light Straw. A fragrant, spring blossom bouquet with crisp pear and apple notes. Elegant and pretty, with a flavoursome and serious palate. Intense lemon and lime, with a core of crunchy green apple, pear and subtle grapefruit. Lengthy, driven and very refreshing with integrated oak adding texture to the finish.

The Bougrier family have been growing and making wines in the Loire valley for six generations, with vineyard holdings throughout the length of the Loire Valley and its many appellations. Sourced from selected sites with clay over limestone on the Vouvray plateau, this is a classic Vouvray that demonstrates the aromatic complexity, breadth of fruit flavours, as well as the balance between subtle fruit sweetness and delicate acidity of Chenin Blanc from this region. Aromas of quince, green pears, and granny smith apples are found along with notes of jasmine. The palate opens up with an array of white stone fruits, fresh acidity, and a subtle, chalky and textural finish. A wine of great freshness, balance, and subtlety.

The palate is loaded with fresh fruit characters of gooseberry, pear, passionfruit and honeysuckle along with lanolin. A fresh and fruit driven Chenin Blanc that has great drinkability. Viticulture - Fruit is sourced from neighbouring properties in the northern Yallingup sub-region of Margaret River. Direct input from Forester’s viticulturist ensures well balanced canopies and crops are grown for the ripe style desired. The 2024 vintage was a warm year for white grapes in Margaret River, allowing plenty of time during January and February to ripen the fruit to our specification. Winemaking - Modern white winemaking techniques are employed in the production of the Lifestyle Chenin Blanc, with temperature control considered critical from the moment the fruit reaches the winery. The fruit is destemmed and crushed, then must chilled and pressed off skins in a very short space of time. The clarified juice is then racked to a fermentation tank where a selected yeast strain is added. All tanks are stirred on lees during their maturation period for 3 months before blending and bottling. Storage & Bottling - Bottled under screwcap into a Burgundy bottle.
