Shiraz - Deep rich cherry red in colour. A robust aroma with very ripe plum/cherry tones and obvious oak leading to a mouth filling palate with long finish. The palate is soft, well balanced with a lingering fruity finish. The wine is ready to drink now or can be cellared for up to 8-10 years.

Shiraz - Dense nose evoking aromas of cedar, plum, raspberry and roasted meats.The palate is vibrant and ethereal, leading into flavours of plum, blackberry and licorice spice, with refined tannins adding length and density to the wine.

Levantine Hill Optume Yarra Valley Shiraz Made from 100% Shiraz from parcels selected by Paul Bridgeman, the wine is entirely matured in French oak (29% of which is new). The wine lands at 13.5% abv and has some weight to it but the vintage shows in the finesse of the wine as does Bridgemans finesse. Theres a brooding element to the nose in dried figs, dark spice and a slight edge of white pepper. The palate has a slow and steady pace that ebbs the flooding tide of dark flavours. Dark black fruit and spicy licorice dominate the nose of the 2018 Zonzo Estate Reserve Shiraz. There is also a subtle background character of savoury earthiness.On the palate the elegant fruit is well integrated with the fine tannin which has great coverage and carries the fruit to the back of the palate. Oak is also present but supports fruit without dominating the lovely character of spicy shiraz and berries.

Hand Picked in late march. 30% whole bunch layered into the ferment. Aged for 6 months in old French oak hogshead prior to bottling Aromas of red berries and cinnamon with hints of spice On the palate the wine has a spectrum of darker red fruits with spice, pepper and earthy undertones A classic cool climate style.

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon 87%, Sangiovese 13% from the Yarra Valley region in Victoria. A potent and complex on the nose with spicy notes that mingle with aromas of blackcurrant and balsamic nuances. The palate tastes of cherries, plums, liquorice, and rosemary. Mouth filling and elegant with lots of plumpness and texture. The oak perfectly fused in leaf, wild herbs and ripe fruit.

Spicy cool climate Shiraz is fermented with whole bunches of a small portion of the white Viognier grape to produce this elegant style. Attractive floral notes of white flowers and peach blossom are enhanced by French oak and Rhone-like pepper and spice on the palate.
