Selected parcels of Shiraz and Viognier were co-fermented to produce Churchviews classic Shiraz. 14 months in French barriques and hogs heads has craftd a wine with red fruits, white pepper, with a bright floral overtones. Palate has fine tannins and a long finish.

Miles From Nowhere Best Blocks Shiraz

The grapes for this spectacular Best Blocks Shiraz were sourced from the Miamup Road vineyard. The fruit was harvested, crushed, and transferred to stainless steel vessels for fermentation. Post maturation in a combination of American and French barriques for 18 months, the resulting wine features a deep purple red colour. A swirl of the glass presents scintillating aromas of freshly cracked pepper, mixed berries, cocoa bean, spice and vanilla. Fine grained tannins integrate with the soft palate containing ripe red fruits and spices. The finish is elegant and lengthy. This delightful Shiraz can be enjoyed now, or within a cellaring term of eight years. It tastes excellent with char grilled porterhouse steak alongside mustard butter sauce and seasonal vegetables.
