Kangarilla Road ‘Q’ Shiraz
In 2015 there was a mini heatwave early January followed by mild days and relatively cool nights. February and March were very dry, vines with supplementing irrigation held up very well thanks to minimal bursts of heat through this period. The highlight for reds was Shiraz with grapes showing an abundance of spicy fruits with colour, richness balanced tannins and vibrant fruit length. The fruit for this wine was sourced from a single vineyard in the Maslin’s Beach area of McLaren Vale grown on the rare geological Blanche Point Formation. The wine was fermented in a traditional open fermenter using gentle cap management techniques. The pressed wine was matured for 24 months in 100% new French hogsheads. This wine has not been fined and is unfiltered.A beautifully perfumed bouquet including freesias and tuber roses entwine with the alluring fragrance of dark ripe cherries with glimpses of exotic anise. The palate is a seamless and perfectly lineal expression of dark rich and expensive fruit with a lasting slightly chocolate finish.
Mount Langi Ghiran Or Shiraz
The Langi Shiraz block at Mount Langi Ghiran is planted with Swiss clone material originally sourced from nearby Bests Concongella Vineyard. Postmodern vinification includes open fermentation with some whole bunch and regular hand plunging, followed by partial barrel fermentation. Maturation takes place for around 14 months in new (45%) and seasoned French oak. The expressive Langi Shiraz is typified by ethereal blackberry, brambly dark cherry and pepper aromas, supple textures and underlying savoury oak.

Yalumba Signature
A classic Australian blend of Cabernet and Shiraz. Typically rich, dense, with red berries complexity and dark chocolate notes. Full-bodied. Defnitely a long palate. A classic for good reasons.
John Hill Wines McLaren Vale Shiraz - Gift Boxed
A deep ruby wine with vibrant colour, full of ripe opulent dark plums and forest fruit aromas. An earthy note ties into the rich and complex oak structure. These flavours merge together on the palate and are guided by a generous serve of well-rounded tannins, allowing for the balanced palate to extend into a pleasantly lingering finish.
