Fork in the Road Grenache Shiraz shows a deep red colour with magenta hues along the edges. The Pollinator Series salutes our beloved Honeybee, Paxton's mascot, for it's vital role in maintaining natural balance and health in the world and in our organic-biodynamic vineyards. The Pollinator Shiraz shows an explosion of raspberries, strawberries, mulberries and plums with a hint of lavender and sandalwood on the nose. On the palate, a medium bodied, drink while young style of wine, bright and fresh red berry fruits followed by a fantastic mid palate packed full of vibrant layers of fruit intensity and topped off with silky tannins and a velvet finish.

Attractive deep black-red in the glass. Soft and rich berry fruits on the palate. Fine tannins on the finish allow the berry flavours to linger elegantly. The vines are grown on the sandy soil of Blewitt Springs, machine-harvested, crushed, 7 days on skins, matured for 18 months in various hogsheads.

Displays generous aromas of mulberries, dusted with exotic Indian spices. The luscious palate is brimming with both Aniseed and Satsuma plum flavours that seamlessly integrate into the persistent mouth coating tannins.

This is the third release of this wine drawing fruit from our Blewitt Springs vineyard sitting on sandy soil offering excellent drainage and resistance to disease and this year using Grenache from our friends at Dog Ridge. The wise old ladies from Blewitt Springs (shiraz) have teamed up with spicy Grenache from McLaren Flat producing fruit of uncommon intensity and flavour.
