Sourced from a variety of McLaren Vale vineyards, Hardys Tintara Shiraz is an outstanding representation of archetypal McLaren Vale Shiraz. On the palate, the wine is dense and intense, showing ripe plum & dark berry fruits in combination with chocolate, liquorice and tar. Evenly balanced with a plush texture, an abundance of sweet fruit flavour & fine structural tannin provides a wine of classic McLaren Vale richness with juicy bright fruit flavour.

2017 Hardys Tintara Grenache Shiraz Mataro,Full of juicy bright plum, red fruits & soft fine tannins. The medium bodied palate bursts with fresh fruits and finishes with fine savoury tannins and fresh natural Grenache acidity. Shiraz & Mataro provide the palate with soft generous fruit weight & compliment the spice & vibrancy of the Grenache.

With vineyards approx. 5km from the ocean (as the crow flies) the benefits of the cooling breezes are evident on the wine. It is inky yet bright, with silky dark fruits and excellent length. Bold, smooth and wonderfully balanced

In true McLaren Vale style, Serafino Magnitude Shiraz shows the rich fruit of the vintage, complex and integrated through maturation in French and American oak for 20 months.

The perfect balance between power and elegance is present here in 'The Descendant' Shiraz by III Associates. Lifted perfume of violet and red fruits courtesy of older oak used lets the fruit sing.

Made by Corrina Wright, a sixth generation member of the Oliver family, this is McLaren Vale Shiraz to the extreme. There's bold chocolate and blackberry flavours, a hint of pepper and smokey overtones. The alcohol sits at the higher end of the spectrum and there's plenty of vanilla oak, but the fruit intensity pulls it all together to produce a superbly balanced wine.

The Hill Block straddles the ridge running through the Chapel Hill estate. The wine was then aged for 19 months in 100% tight grained French oak. The proportion of new oak was kept low to encourage the continued expression of the characters that are unique to the vineyard site.

Vibrant in colour the nose shows plum and berry fruit with spice pepper and well integrated oak. The palate has good fruit weight with attractive berry flavours and a fine tannin finish.

Big bold and tightly knit, Woodhenge will evolve over the following years as the style and full body of McLaren Vale fruit starts to integrate. Currently showing dark chocolate, mocha and mint over tones. As this wine ages and unfurls patience will be rewarded.
