The Third Generation series is a modern style Chardonnay, Robert Stein Winery has crafted with the exceptional fruits from Mudgee to create this great expression of the vineyard and regional characteristics in a bottle. With the aromas of grapefruit, peach and citrus, fermentation was 80% in stainless steel tank with high lees contact. The remainder time in older oak undergoing partial Malolactic Fermentation with wild yeast, which adds diversity and complexity to the finish.

Golden Chardonnay fruit from the Louis vineyard is cool fermented in tanks followed by extended lees contact prior to bottling. By not utilising the Burgundy technique of fermentation in oak casks this wine highlights the pure Chardonnay aromas and flavours of stone, citrus and melon fruits. The palate is zesty and fresh with generous passionfruit and green tropical fruit flavours on the mid palate, leading to a persistent grapefruit tropical finish. Established in 2005 by the Hill-Smith family, Redbank Victoria specialises in ultra-cool climate wines from the valleys of Eastern Victoria. The vineyards are nestled in the high country of the Victorian alpine region as well as the King Valley, and some select vineyards in Beechworth. The winemakers and viticulturists work closely with a dedicated team of carefully selected independent growers.
