Deep red with ruby hues. The wine exhibits vibrant, characteristic aromas of ripe blackcurrants, blueberries, and dark plums meshed with hints of bay and liquorice and subtle spicy, toasty oak. The generous palate is packed full of juicy fruits of the forest, cassis and chocolate characters. Medium to full-bodied, the fleshy fruits are supported by moreish, supple and ripe tannins. A balanced wine, with a persistent fruit finish with beautiful regional savoury inflections of bay, black olive and liquorice.

Shiraz & Cabernet Sauvignon is another match that delivers something greater than the sum of its parts. Blend the rich upfront flavour and a lingering aftertaste of Cabernet, with the silky softness consistency of Shiraz, add a splash of Merlot, and you have a Rouge of super delicious deliciousness. This blend has been simply foot-crushed, hand-plunged during wild ferment and basket pressed to old oak for some sleepy time. The Cabernet, Shiraz & Merlot are all from our Quindalup vineyard.

A traditional red grape variety from Bordeaux in France, Malbec is increasingly being grown in Australia. The grape is renowned for its deep colour, generous fruit expression and full flavour. Margaret River wine region offers great growing conditions for the variety. Malbec wines from this region show great depth and beautifully reflect the character of the grape. This is not surprising considering Margaret River and Bordeaux experience similar climatic conditions.

Modern white wine making techniques were used with temperature control critical from the vineyard through to the winery. The fruit was de-stemmed and crushed then must chilled and pressed off the skins quickly. It was allowed to settle for 72 hours before being racked in a clarified state to a fermentation tank. Each variety was kept separately with a range of different yeast being employed on the two different parcels. It was then transferred to temperature controlled steel tanks. Ø FOOD MATCHING Best served chilled and enjoyed with a light meal such as chicken or seafood.

A vibrant yet elegant Margaret River Cab. Black and blue fruits form a core with nots of dark chocolate, moch a and baking spices, all wrapped in silky tannins. Certified organic winery Churchview owned by the Fokkema family, headed by Spike Fokkema, who originally emigrated from the Netherlands in the 1950s. Howard Park Miamup Rosé is crafted from 55% Shiraz and 45% Pinot Noir. Flaunting a shining rose gold colour, this mesmerising Rose opens with fruity notes of strawberries and peach swirled with cream. These ripe berry and early season stone fruit flavours offer gentle sweetness and crispness to the palate. Oak maturation gives a soft mineral texture while adding weight and complexity to the wine. This modern, stylish, dry and delicate rosé is a great summer drink, tasting best paired with grilled fish or goat cheese.
