Strawberries, raspberries, dark cherries and blackcurrants are the base of this wine but has depth in texture and flavour are given by rich tannins and subtle spice from ageing in French oak. Bunch pressed and in part wild fermented. Partial malolactic fermentation imparts further complexity. A beautifully textured and complex wine.

The Jim Barry McCrae Wood is a fine example of the bold Clare Valley Shiraz style. Intense and concentrated, it is well worth putting away for five years at least!

The 2003 Seven Acre Shiraz displays typical flavours of plum, blackberry with slight hints of pepper and dark chocolate. The lacy tannin structure balances the wine tremendously and really reminds you why Greenock Creek are producing some of the world's best wines.

Yarra Yering is not only a Victorian icon, but a true Australian wine treasure. The Underhill Shiraz is sourced exclusively from the 1974 planted block of Shiraz at the western-most extremity of the vineyard. Drawn from soils with a higher clay base which has resulted in a wine of a more masculine bent offering darker fruits and spice with chewier tannins and a savoury undertone.
