This wine was pressed from its skins early, before the end of fermentation. Its a technique thats perfectly captured plush fruit flavours and a velvety structure.

Gorgeous Grenache displays a beautifully perfumed nose with hints of violets and wild strawberry. The palate is succulent, juicy and Pinot-like in its profile while the finish is savoury and moreish. Sourced from a number of vineyards in The Barossa and McLaren Vale regions of South Australia. All vineyards are vinified in small batches, separately. Wild ferments, whole bunch inclusion, larger oak and no filtration or fining define the natural character of the wine. From our base in the idyllic Adelaide Hills, we work with pristine fruit sourced from iconic vineyard sites. Giles Cooke MW and Fergal Tynan MW, with the helping hand of Peter Leske, hand-make small-batch wines that illustrate the benefits of great sites and intelligent winemaking. This red shows distinctive characters of black fruit, eucalypt and spice, smoothed out by delicious dark chocolate and a touch of smoky oak.

This blend of Pinot Noir, Shiraz and Pinot Gris has been blended to create a beautiful wine made to be enjoyed chilled. the Limestone Coast Pinot Noir has been blended with the Barossa Shiraz and Pinot Gris which are co fermented. This results in a light, bright blend that displays lifted notes of raspberry and blackberry jube with hints of mint. The resulting palate defies the appearence and bright bouquet with long, fine tannis adding wonderful balance and persistence which becomes a highlight of this wine.

Small parcels of the best quality fruit from across top regions in South Australia were chosen for this Reserve Durif – and it shows! It’s big, rich and mouthcoating, a ‘black red’ with some serious heft. Take that as a warning! The wine is named after a type of cattle (Hereford/ Shorthorn cross) bred for the harsh conditions of Australia’s far north, and has been crafted with steak in mind. Hints of black pepper and dark chocolate coat the palate with layers of rich red fruit and black cherry.

Very deep black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Elevated liquorice and blackberry aromas meld with vanillin cedar, earth and pepper. Rich and lush with a velvety feel, opulent liquorice and blackberry fruits overlay a back drop of black raspberry, scorched earth and blackpepper. Excellent concentration. Slightly chewy tannins concluding with a long spicy black fruited aftertaste. Drink over the next 3-4 years. Alc. 14%

The wines rich fruit and spice is balanced with subtle oak, and velvety tannins, which combine to deliver an intense, yet elegant finish.
